That's Kate gone too!

Out of all the years Andrea has been on LW this is the first year she has been allowed to do end of season show!

Jackie Brambles always did it and last year Kate did it!

How was Kate's departure marked? And was the show definitely live? LOL. One wonders if they would pre-record in case any of the disgruntled sacked anchors would let rip on air.

In no way was it marked! No flowers or nothing!

Kate said at the very end "that's it from from me for the very last time, thank you and see you soon" something along those lines.

SHOCKING ITV! And yeah 100% sure it was live.

Perhaps Kate has fallen out with ITV, argument with bosses, awful to work with...? always read between the lines.

As she is hosting a Night With Will Young, it doesn't look like she has fallen out with ITV - more likely, they are going to find some other shows, like the Will Young show, for her to compensate for the loss.

Vast improvement. The old one was good when first introduced as orange, nice and simplistic for the time but it looks dated and boring now.

Much nicer. Will there we set changes with the new logo?

Will Loose Women be in HD? Presumably if so, that will mean Lorraine will be as well.

Just looking at that new logo and taking into account other such things......................one wonders if the imminent season of Loose Women will, indeed, be the last one?

Possibly more breaks perhaps a longer summer break next year to bring back gino and mel. I think another couple of years yet, but revamped probably every year until an identity is gone such as presenters, set, logo perhaps different studio maybe all recorded?

With the plate and fork, perhaps there will be some food items added to the show?

The revamp will either be the beginning of the end or it will cement Loose Women firmly back into the ITV1 daytime line up. It will go one way or the other, but aside from the look and feel its ultimately the content and the panelists that will make or break it. Hopefully with Carol Vorderman at the helm they can go back to finding the right balance between humour and serious discussions. ITV should be more careful with the programme, and with the success of Mel & Gino maybe Loose Women should be taken off air during every school holiday.
