I thought it was pretty good, I think it'll become a regular special every now and then.

Roman’s set up is very good although I wonder if it’s being shot in a studio rather than at home.

Roman has a lot of contacts in the YouTube world so he has probably been able to get better advice as to a home set up than the majority of mainstream celebs.

It was good - and probably better than Loose Women. It was relaxed and nothing seemed fake or forced. They were sensible topics and things that men could relate to. There wasn't the silliness that Loose Women often turns into.
It's got a lot of positive reaction on Twitter. They probably should have done a full male line-up a long time ago, as it seems there is an audience for it.
Maybe they could do a Loose Men weekly series. Maybe show it in the evenings, when there are likely to be more men watching, like after News at Ten or something.

My only real niggle was that the panel was quite young skewing but I would assume if Loose Men was on as a regular special, they would try and have an older panelist.

Marvin has really improved as a presenter and dare I say, he's better than Rochelle!

It was probably a young panel because ITV daytime producers largely now appoint male contributors in the way that regional news appointed women decades ago.

I agree. I noticed it was younger. If it was to be a regular thing, they may get an older man too.
But it depends what age group they are trying to target.

Maybe they could use Eamonn Holmes, seeing as he will soon be out of his job on This Morning and has no other regular TV work.

Has that been confirmed?

Well he used to do some documentaries with Ruth for Channel 5 but nothing has been announced lately.
As far as This Morning goes, I still don't think ITV has officially announced it, but the newspaper journalists seem certain. I am not going to post links to endless newspaper reports here, but the latest in a couple of them today is that 'Eamonn and Ruth will host tomorrow, despite being axed'.
In my opinion, Ruth and Eamonn are the programme's best presenters, and I hope editor Frizell and management change their minds, if they have decided to lose them.

I was replying to someone who asked if the news about Eamonn's This Morning job had been confirmed, following my suggestion that he may be a choice for future "Loose Men".
Hardly the "wrong thread", is it??
