I currently have Freeview but recently most of the channels I watch are impossible to receive because of interference. If its the weather, my aerial or a duff TV then I'm stuffed but I need an alternative that is more reliable and doesn't costa fortune so can anyone make a suggestion?

Are you sure reception isn't being affected by interference on the 800 MHz frequency? You might need a filter to stop this from happening: https://at800.tv/

Otherwise it might be worth looking into something like Freesat, free satellite TV, which would involve a one-off payment for dish installation (if you don't already have a satellite dish from a previous Sky subscription) and buying the box but is subscription free thereafter. https://www.freesat.co.uk/

TVPlayer is an app which has a lot of the Freeview channels although not all are receivable depending on which platform you use. I use ROKU and the only ones missing are the UKTV ones.

However you can stream all the free channels on the website and run an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV. You could even pick up a micro PC to act as a set-top box of sorts.
