Looks very promising doesn't it? I especially love the opening titles.

I also saw a trail for it at the weekend which included the old, stripey, orange BBC2 logo forming up. It seemed to have been sped up though. Hopefully that was just for the purposes of the trail. It'd be nice to see some authentic vintage presentation tonight.

Watched the DVD yesterday Smile looking forward to series 2.

From the trailers it looks like the format of series 2 will be different, being more of a parody of a Tomorrow's World type show than schools television.

OH YES! New series is 4:3, with a nice clean =2= at the beginning of the first episode at least. Um... I'm gonna go watch it now.

Surprising to see Harry Enfield as the "Ghost of Tchiakovsky" . . . !

I was really disappointed with tonight's show; it just didn't match the attention to detail and the writing in Series 1. I'd wondered if it would stretch to a half hour format - it struggled I think.

Most of the graphics seemed wrong, they looked too "clean" / 3D and obviously done on a modern computer. In Series 1, they'd got all the graphics etc spot on. Of course it was nice to see =2= though!

I thought the writing was awful; it lacked the depth or subtlety of series 1 - it could've been done by my old school mates and me when we were 12.

Perhaps my expectations were too high for it Sad

ZigZag and Blue Peter thats all I have to say! I think the Tchaikovsky thing was micky taking all the Paul Coia robot rubbish! Laughing

Brilliant timing - especially the guy with the 'Psilence' can Razz

Well, not as good as the first series? I think there was too much concentration on the music 2000 thing really, and I hope future episodes are better joke-wise and in thier attention to the science side of things. Still, the 'knock-knock, go out' joke was laugh-out-loud funny and I think it's obviously quite hard to do this kind of comedy in a different format from the 'Experiment' style.

Enjoyed it, but agree that a few things weren't convincingly 80's, and I find the more genuine it looks, the funnier it is.

Still, Kevin Eldon and Mark Heap are always good.
