You can actually watch Garth Marenghi's Darkplace in full on the Avalon website, by clicking in the appropriate places.

Basically Look Around You series 1 was 6 episodes long and 10 mins in duration, and looked very much like the Granada schools science programmes of the early to mid 80's.

Get the DVD...

No, it was a spoof. There's some RealPlayer clips on the Look Around You site. 'tis very funny. I put an episode on an old tape, stuck some old pres either side and placed it on a teachers desk. What a lesson. Very Happy

I heard this was good I will watch with high expectations.

Isn't Peter Serefenorenowitz (sp) it if from "Shaun of the Dead"?

BTW great idea for a school lesson.

I heard the DVD has spoof Ceefax Pages as well, is this true?

Yup it's the same Peter Sererfennosomething, same guy who was in Hardware too.

The Ceefax pages are quite amusing, though most of the pages are things related to the show, but the DVD is worth it IMO, the whole programme is excellent, and the commentary isn't too bad either.

About 3 minutes. Luckily I'd picked one with a good sense of humour and so we watched the whole thing. Laughing
