Replacing 'North of Westminster' there is now on BBC TWO North a special edition of 'Look North' presented by Peter Lugg.
All usual titles and headline beds were used, the 'window' is a special picture.
The ident used was 'Excalibur' yet again (twice in 3 days!) and it was voiced by the man who presented this morning's 'Super League Show' not sure of his name.

Yep - thought the programme was very good and well put together - they have a good team in Leeds. Bulletin this evening at 6.50 as usual but with Ian White (where's Peter Levy!!).
A usual 5 minute long Calendar News with 'Clare White' holding the fort.
Even though there is a 15 minute 'Cartoon' scheduled at 2.15pm.
This is the problem of major news taking place at weekends

Yeah, I suppose so, but ITV should surely have had more scope to do regional programming. Will they do a special later? The BBC again showing their superiority in Leeds over Yorkshire - they had all their top people in.
Well, on North West Tonight at the weekend, Julia Sharp presents both Sat and Sun. Nigel Jay normally presents Breakfast. Nigel last presented North West Tonight at the weekend in about November 2000. Julia Sharp has been on every weekend since then until last weekend. Nigel has presented the last two weekends as well as Breakfast all week! Also last week, as other presenters have been off, he presented a lunchtime North West Today and late North West Tonight at 2225! That means he hasn't had a day off since Sunday 24 June 2001 - thats 14 days in on TV! I know for a fact he's on again all week this week!!

Maybe Peter Levy is having a day off - maybe even longer off!! He has been doing Lunch and the main programme for the past two weeks so maybe has taken his annual holiday! Then again, what's the betting he's back at 6.25 tomorrow morning!

Meanwhile, the main Look North hasn't been presented by both 'Clare and Harry' for weeks
After 2 weeks of Clare Frisby and Peter Levy and before that Harry Gration and Cathy Killilick
Now today's is being presented by 'Harry Gration live from Bradford and Penny Bustin in the studio'
There was a specially voiced announcement, and as you can guess it was Ian White who did it.

He went to the Isle of Man over the weekend, hence why he didn't present Look North Sunday yesterday!

Its not like Peter to take a day off, In fact most days he takes extra bulletins on!
Oh, and I forgot to say,
The Sunday tea-time Calendar wasn't any longer than usual.
The sunday Look North was 30 seconds longer though,
