Look North Silence

The sound has been virtually completely lost on the Look North NE&C late bulletin.

The presenter, name unknown, sat and stared at the camera for ages, occasionally bursting out laughing and reading the news (but no volume coming through)

The sound was switched on towards the very end, but it is the wierdest television I've seen in a long time.

I noticed this too, but only on DTT.

Look North opted from London, and Lara Rostrom (sp?) stared at the camera for about 10 seconds, before she started speaking. However there was no sound, and none of the reports played (we just had a camera shot of her sitting there).

It was fine on analogue, though. She did apologise near the end of the bulletin.

On Sky, she just sat there staring at the camera for ages.

It was very strange TV. I wish I had a capture card to show the guys and girls here - I did like the way she started laughing a couple of times!

Did David H jinx the broadcast?

It could have been guerilla warfare by the North East Possy.

Scary stuff.
