I can get Radio Leeds all the way over here in Hull. It's a bit fuzzy but it's not too bad if I adjust the ariel. I can get it really well when I'm in Manchester too.
Yes, some of Peter's callers are often from outside West Yorkshire, and Peter always says, "shouldn't you be listening to Radio Humberside, Well I suppose this sort of entertainment will be new to you in Haaallll"!

Also - one of BBC Newcastle's biggest news event days of the year with the Queen in town. All the planning and a special programme this morning at 11.30 for an hour on BBC Two. However, it started but there was no sound... 2 minutes later they went to an apology caption (with NE & Cumbria on surprisingly enough) and it was there for about 10 minutes! Big whoops...
After watching the show tonight (03/05/02), I am writing to request that Peter Levy be docked at least 200 votes from the poll for the wearing of that hideous purple check shirt! Looked like something that would normally only see the light of day on Open University programmes from the 1970s!
Is this Peter's attempt to curry favour with the viewers for this Levy V Hudson vote by making himself appear trendy? It's not gonna work!
