If you read my post properly, you would see that I am not talking about 'idents or stings' as you put it. I am asking a plain question for any people who know. This is because I want to know whether they are recorded or not. And, as Asa pointed out in another thread, 'ident' is the incorrect term for describing the regional news intro themes.
Oh bog off, ident isn't even a word anyway.
The fact is that you continually ask everyone on this forum again and again if they can get these 'THINGS' for you, i'm not sure what you want me to call them, when the vast majority are identical.
If they were non-corporate then I could understand but for heavens sake, they are all at TV ARK and The TV Room anyway.
Well, that was an easy arguement to win.
I must go in search of harder prey in future.
But really Robert, my simply point is this.
You ask every day for these idents (don't...) and if you would just give people10 mins without nagging perhaps you would get them.
Alternatively. Perhaps if you got of your own backside and looked for them yourself, as you are clearly wanting them so badly, you would find them!
Do the work yourself if you want them so much instead of getting people all over the place to do it for you.

So, you find me a
decent
copy of Points West without all the headlines and balloon rubbish and I will believe you.
God you are obsessed - you pick arguments with everyone over anything. And If I want Spotlight Channel Islands what do you want me to do, go down there and take a VCR with me? Get real.
Does Look North use thunderclaps out of time, so to speak. I was listening to the lunchtime edition of Look North and one was 5 secs and the other seemed less. Can anyone help?
Sorry - nothing to do with Look North - but Look East use 'out-of-time thunderclaps' - or variable bongs as I think of them.
The crashes are played from two mini-discs - and these are actually triggered by the director cutting between sources on a certain bit of the vision mixer (ME1 for those who know what that means!) when the headline sequence is recorded...
NO!
INSTEAD ASK JIM EDWARDS AT TV WORLD FOR SPOTLIGHT CHANNEL ISLANDS!
If you don't like the fact that they have 2 seconds of a balloon in then frankly you need to lower your standards.
If you can't cope with people reading the headlines then that is a very sad tale indeed.
Why can't you just download it and then edit it yourself!?
I think you are the one who is obsessed!
No thanks. I have high standards and wish to keep them. Thank you for the compliment. Please keep your nose out of my business. If you don't like me or my posts, then keep clear of me! Simple as that.
I do not wish to argue any more.

Steve
nothing so grand on look north - our bongs are on tape - which we then cut the pictures too
Well Real 8.5 is the highest standard you can get, which is what Jim Edwards is offering you.
I think it is more the case that you cannot be bothered to look yourself rather than you have high standards.

I have downloaded all the available regional clips for your information. They may be Real 8.5, but what Target Audience are they at? And if it wasn't for me asking to capture things, TV Stuff would not have as much content as it does now, and lots of the things on TV Home were my suggestions to Asa. Anyway, I do not wish to carry on this with you - please stop it.
I'm sorry for any problems I may have caused to anyone reading this thread.
