I like Christine Talbot, she's really friendly. God, I'm really jealous of all you lot living in Yorkshire. You all get good regional news with really good graphics and music. We just get Granada, who can't even be bothered to think of a new look for Granada Tonight. I suppose that we at least get the lovely Rachel Harrison (who I haven't seen for a bit incidentally).
I WANT YORKSHIRE TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:
YTV's Calendar is the onyl good programme in the North. I live in the North, and I have to say YTV's scarping the bottom of the barrel for magazine shows. Aarrgghh!
Look North is great, In my opinion, we have the best presenters by far.
We have the very talented, and very funny Peter Levy, we have the funny weatherman: Paul Hudson, we have Harry Gration - a witty, great presenting man on main programme, and Claire Frisby - oh she's great too!
It is indeed nice to be able to enjoy BBC North and YTV, even down here in the Midlands!
One thing that amused Peter on this lunchtime's Look North was that Paul Hudson left his sunroof oepn and then it rained and completely soaked the inside of his car! Oh, Peter had much fun with the fact!
BTW, the have got the put the main evening editions on the BBC Look North website as Harry Gration's abscence means that Peter, Paul and sometimes even Clare have a lot of fun in the evening! It was SO funny last night! Talk about Peter's dodgy thrust, I will say no more!
By the way, You could tell that Clare Frisby hadn't done a short bulletin for months, as she made a mess of the 350pm edition on BBC Two
At the start she said 'Hello......I'm Clare Frisby,welcometothenews,...' very half-heartadly, I sounds funny having Clare say her name (Just like when peter says I'm Peter Levy)
Then at the end, as always the camera shot changed to the side one to show the widescreen, but Clare continued to look forwards and said a rushed 'And thats it'
Michael Fish was already just beginning his weather, and the end titles must have been dropped

And there's just been a spider on the Leeds window - Clare reassured us telling us not to worry and Peter looked round to see it scurrying off!!!
Does anyone else think Clare and Peter should do the news together more - it's just so funny!!

Well not all the bulletins - but I tend to have the One, Six and Ten O'Clock news programmes on with the regional bits too... Also grab a few minutes of News24/Sky when I can!

Well us non entities will have to behave ourselves then
Does Look North use thunderclaps out of time, so to speak. I was listening to the lunchtime edition of Look North and one was 5 secs and the other seemed less. Can anyone help?
What is the fascination with BBC Regional News idents/stings?
They all look the same for heaven's sake!
The only difference is that they have a different area of the Uk coloured in and have different letters, they aren't drastically different.
I can't understand why you want to capture every single one of them so desperately!
