Don't know much about this guy, only started hearing his name this week, and there he is on the main Calendar programme. Maybe they think he has star quality, poor Frazer looks like a demotion.
Jonathan is great! He was a regular presenter on Tyne Tees, then went to Wellbeing (which has now closed) and is now doing some stuff for Yorkshire. He is a really talented guy. Spent many years in BBC Local Radio and at Look North (Newcastle) before going to Tyne Tees.

Christa's introduction was certainly quite brief; it wasn't actually stated what will be happening in September - Christa had to practically explain to the viewers that she'd be presenting with Harry! Harry's phrase 'Well, we've managed to get her at last...' was certainly amusing though!

Nice to know there isn't a 'war' regarding Local News programmes when Harry said they'd been friends for 20 years!
I'm afraid Calendar have lost a lot of their 'personalities', and there have been too many bland new faces just recently, meaning the viewer doesn't build up a rapport with anyone. They need a major signing, and quickly.
Have to say that I've always preferred Look North; even in the Mike McCarthy/Sophie Raworth and Mike McCarthy/Clare Frisby days - the only reason Calendar got more viewers was because it had better-known personalities presenting it. Now Clare and Harry are much more well-known than Calendar's team and with Harry and Christa things will only get better as Mike and Christine on Calendar aren't exactly credible journalists!
