Look North/Calendar

Well I caught it in the Calendar East area and it was definately Geoff.

Well no wonder then! I was watching the main Calendar from Emley.
I expect Geoff would have reappeared at 6.05pm as well then?

I don't know didn't see Calendar East at 6:05pm.

Penny Bustin's on Look North tonight - and she introduced the programme as 'Welcome to your local news programme' or something like that!

Frazer did the Calendar News at lunch today.

Wow, that's a cool background on Calendar News!

They sometimes say 'Welcome to the news from your area' on Look North to give a bit of variety from the usual 'Welcome to Look North. Tonight...' or whatever it is they say!

You should see the ones they use during GMTV. If their background used in the morning wouldn't wake you up, nothing will.

If you like that, you should see the one they use for the GMTV Bulletins.

I've always been told never wear stripes with spots, don't suppose that matters on the telly.

To make that background better though, I'd make the blue transparent, and reinstate the view of the Newsroom below (as they did in the previous look)

This would make this set more interesting. (Calendar only use a proper studio for Calendar itself and the weekend teatime bulletins)
