Its the local weather which was unusual today

For some reason at 10.40am, Jon Mitchell did the YTV Weather out of vision, (I believe they do this on GRA all the time)

On BBC, Small Paul is off from today, so the Look North Weather is being done by Elizabeth Saary, who is usually based at Television Centre.

Meanwhile, having Clare AND Harry presenting Look North must be too good to be true,
Tonight, its Peter Levy and Penny Bustin:)

An UPDATE of what you said!
Small Paul Hudson was on tonight at 6.30, instead of the woman with the wierd voice. 'Puuuuuuuuushing away the mist'
Also, Claire and Harry have gone to see the Queen!

P.S. On tomorrows show, look out for Claire's new hair do!

(wasn't paul a bitch to penny? - hehehe)

What did Paul actually say to Penny - I only caught the hand back from the weather! And why were Harry and Clare at Buckingham Palace garden party?!

It seemed strange on Calendar tonight when they did a piece about the pending heatwave we are meant to be having, and Jon Mitchell was on. Yet, after Calendar Jo Blythe presented the Weather, although Jon Mitchell was already in the building, I would normally have expected Jon to do the weather especially after being on Calendar.

Maybe Jon is about to depart to ITV Weather, perhaps that's why they've brought Jo in all of a sudden.

Just for the record, Nichola Crompton presented Calendar East this lunch.

And even stranger seeing as Debbie was doing the Weather earlier in the day!

Paul said that Penny was looking good........for her age.

And then on Look North Lunchtime today, Paul said that Clare's new hairdo looked like she had been struck by lightening!Very Happy

I want the opt outs to start now! I'm getting impatient! And I want Christa to start soon.

That is strange, why have all 3 weather presenters in during the course of the day ?

Trevor Appleton was doing the Look North weather today, sat on a stool, as he is to tall for the set.

Gaynor Barnes and John Shires presented half of Calendar today from the YTV garden.

That guy Trevor Appleton really bugs me on his stool. It looks as if he's about to burst into song, Val Doonican style.

The BBC Two schedulers are not providing suitable schedules on a Sunday
morning so BBC North/NE&C/NW can opt out.

Last week, the BBC 2 Schedule included 1115-1230 TOTP+.

This meant that after 'The Super League Show' (1115-1200), they had to show a repeat of Close Up North until 12.30!

This week, BBC2 had from 11.40pm Sunday Grandstand,
What happened here in the North, was that we had 'The Super League Show' until about 11.55pm, and then crashed into Grandstand.
Harry Gration introduced the next programme using the plasma widescreen in the studio, and we then joined Grandstand mid-programme in the middle of an interview, without any sort of introduction!

Next week's schedule acomodates a 11.15-12.00 opt out.
