Today it actually started at 5.59pm!

That is actually quite annoying, because I like to watch the start of Calendar and then turn over for the '6' Headlines, before going back to Calendar, But they were on both at the same time tonight!

I trust you then turn over to watch a REAL regional news programme at 6:30?

Of course...
Calendar 5.59-6.27
Look North 6.29-6.55
then back to ITV1 for Emmerdale

I catch up with the national news at 10!

Traditionally at my house, my Dad always has ITV on, so its always Calendar and the ITV Evening News that is on the TV downstairs!

BTW, me -

17:15 - The Weakest Link
18:00 - BBC Six O'Clock News (so I can watch the Look North 'stings' at 18:00 and 18:15!)
18:30 - BBC Look North, the one and only, the best, the Harry and Christa Half-Hour of Fun!

Ooh, I feel the need for a picture coming on! But as this part of the post is being created using the 'edit' function, I'll have to post again!

I think one like that might be on the billboards, at least Harry looks human on this one

Has anyone esle noticed that Harry's become more animated since Christa's arrival? Harry looks so pleased with himself in that picture it's almost illegal!

And can someone please suggest ways in which I can stave off withdrawal symptoms seeing as I'm not going to be able to watch Hud the Stud till whenever? Some people are saying two weeks, others say he's just off for a week.

I think he's only off for 1 week plus last Friday.
Obviously that means a gap of 2 weeks of banter.

As the old thread has disappeared..

Sunday's Calendar News was presented by Katie Stuart.

When I saw that name I thought, Oh not another newcomer!

But it turns out it was Katie Lampert, so she must have got married.

(I didn't see the name caption yesterday by the way)

This week's 'Calendar Pick of the Week' was dropped.

Can anyone capture a sound file of the Closing music to Calendar?

Also, did anyone screen grab a pic of Helen Philpott, I expect I won't be seeing her on Look North much, as I live in the west of the region!

I bet we'll see Helen Philpott again on the 3.25pm bulletin practicing... maybe all this week? We'll see tomorrow!

It depends where you live of course, I live in Leeds, but will be able to see both Leeds and Hull versions of look North!!

Calendar East ran out of time during tonights Calendar and were cut-off halfway through an item. While quite often I've seen the goodbye being clipped by the opt-back it's never quite been so bad:)

I haven't seen anything of Calendar East today, but it was Clare White presenting yesterday. She's very good IMHO, much better than Anne-Marie Tasker. I always see Vicky Locklin as being Christa's daughter, she's very much like her.

Wonder if Helen Phillpot is any relation to Colin Phillpot (BBC North boss)?
