Liked the titles and the tweaked music - the ending especially seems very LDNish.

The studio looks interesting - though we didn't see much of it. (Looked like they hadn't tidied up the cables to the coffee table !)

Also there seemed to be projector routing issues - someone routed green to the projector behind Stewart just before the Weather (which also appeared behind Stewart) The weather is now not CSO - it is projected.

I liked the new Look East astons (the background for the text strap is now grey) - and the maps were also quite clean and fresh.

It was also nice to see Kim show us round a bit. I notice that the technical areas are a bit more partitioned off than in LDN - the "ingest" area seemed to be a bit more suited to operational work (lower lighting levels etc.)

I think it is the BBC LDN music they're using.

Not sure about the grey astons.

Great stuff, love the new look!! LDN, you are now not alone!! Anyone feel that the opening titles (mainly of the Forum) may be a one-off for today?

I really don't think so. They look far too produced (just watching them back, there's been quite a bit of tweaking with the images). I prefer it to watching two old people riding scooters through tunnels and Generic Dual Carriageway Clip #F825.

On a slightly-related sidenote, apparently someone has graffitied a sign on The Forum to read The Borum, which I thought was slightly amusing Laughing

I think that the music is subtly different. There seemed to be an extra high pitched bit in the lunchtime closing sting. It could be that they are using different bits of the same package - or commissioned a slightly remixed version for the move?

I quite like the grey astons - they are certainly very clear and fresh - and I expect they are easier to read on analogue than the block red straps as the colour won't bleed quite so much.

Huh! How drab does that sound? I like Look North's - arched top edge with the orange and red gradient and even a picture of the reporter if he/she doesn't appear on screen!

Well, it's a bit hard to pass judgment based on a mere description. Screen caps would be helpful. Wink

Agreed. I only said it sounds drab. I'd love to be proved right/wrong.

What channel number on Sky will I find the right region to see this new look?

Surely flicking through the Sky channels would take less time than posting and waiting for an answer?!

It's a shame Look East only publish the evening programme on the website. I'd love to see this as from the description it sounds as though they've changed the look drastically.

There are several East regions, I am not sure what variant it is!
