What is a "Daily Runner", on those credits?

I thought the show was hilarious, very well made and written, and a brilliant twist to end the show. Couldn't help but notice the price on the small print kept increasing. Great to see the cameos, particularly seeing Rick Astley blurting out "s**t love" then trying to help the woman back on the chair. As for the old dears calling themselves the Sugababes, I wasn't sure if I should be having a cringe or dying in laughter.

Absolutely top class stuff, so many laugh out loud moments. I loved the 'not in Border and Tyne Tees' line too Laughing. I hope it gets the high ratings it deserves.

That has to be the best TV I have seen in years! Cat Deely will NEVER work in kids TV again "**** SHUT UP!".

I expect the DVD'll be out soon, as it had loads of cross-channel promotion. Next piss-take will be the Big Brother-style thing on E4.

The single is already out in some Tesco late-night garages... only £1.99! Might go and get a copy tomorrow... Wink

Not on iTunes yet... Sad

The second time he mentioned that bit, he said, "Except in the Border, Tyne Tees, Grampian and Anglia regions!" Classic!

Such a shame there isn't a More Britain's Got the Pop Factor and possibly a new Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice Extra on E4.

Thankfully though Geraldine's fate was left open to the imagination, so definately room for a spoof follow up documentary next year. Hopefully.

In the style of the Mark Park/Cheryl Avenue sketch from That Peter Kay Thing possibly.

I'm not a Peter Kay fan at all but tuned in to see what it would be like - and was pleasantly surprised indeed. Was a fantastic night of television IMO, loved the various one-liners (including the references to ITV regions) and would welcome a DVD release.

I caught bits of it and it left me cold I'm afraid. It just felt a bit contrived and almost as if they'd spent too much time getting it to look the part but not enough on the writing. There were a few fairly good lines but nothing really laugh out loud

But then I've never really subscribed to the whole Peter Kay thing excpet for Pheonix Nights (which of course was a team effort)

It didn't work for me either - for the same reason.

Keenly observed, but not funny enough to call itself a parody.

Excellent website address though - surely the longest in C4 history!

I agree. There were some funny lines but they were few and far between. Yeah it looked good but I've seen other comedians take the piss out of X Factor better.

All The X Factor is is 4 talentless c**** telling other talentless c*** s they can't sing....with no irony whatsoever.
