There was an advert for this on E4 just now, it will be on again in just under an hour on E4+1.

At the end of it Peter Kay is dressed as a woman, looked quite freaky...

There was an extended trailer the other night on C4. It's being billed as "next week" in today's TV mags, so I'd imagine it'll air the second weekend in October.

Why Don't You's proper title was Why Don't You Just Switch Off Your Television Set and Go Out and Do Something Less Boring Instead?

This did used to be the longest title...

Is this show just a one-off or a series? (as I see the "Results" show says they find out the winner)

I don't think the programme was ever officially called that - it was just part of the song on the theme tune.

No it was... the Radio Times started shortening it ( for spacial reasons ).

So C4 shell out for an ad on ITV telling us a spoof reality talent show is coming sooner than you think - and then The X Factor begins!

Yeah I thought that was funny. Very Happy

On those cross-channel promotions they aren't allowed to mention specific scheduling for the show which is why they just had to say "Coming sooner than you think" when it's actually on tomorrow.

That certainly at least was true, but I thought it was changed this year by Ofcom?
