I wonder how many times he will repackage that over the next few years before coming out with new material?
Harsh but sadly true. It's a pitty he hasn't come up with new stand up material in the interim
That said he gets away with such repackaging, because people buy it in their droves. He may be lazy on that score, but a canny businessman with it-- he certainly knows his audience.

Well now on a related note, and yet of no interest to anyone, there was just now an S4C promo run on HTV between This Morning and the ad break. I can't recall seeing one of those in at least ten years -- although it's more likely to be fifteen.
The date and time [Sunday at 9] was also quoted, so I daresay the rules might apply differently in Wales -- how, I could not say. The programme is not even produced by HTV, as with the BBC Wales cross-promos.

On those cross-channel promotions they aren't allowed to mention specific scheduling for the show which is why they just had to say "Coming sooner than you think" when it's actually on tomorrow.

It was very well done, and the opening titles were arguably better than the X-factor!
I thought it was a nice play on having the Pop Idol eske symbol return to our screens, a format that was better than X Factor anyway!
The one running gag they didn't do could've been Fox's constant use of the word 'Tad' during his opinions on performances. "I thought it was a TAD wooden" "For me it was a TAD flat"... although they did have him 'agreeing' with Nicki and then running off on a tangent which was a good observation.
Overall it was a well produced product in my opinion. Yes it lacked the gags and one-liners, but for observers of TV and the industry, it was very well done. I'm sure the media courses country wide will be using it as an example this week!

As mentioned in the Christmas thread, it's back to plug the Christmas single with the spoof follow up documentary.

It'd be so great, and wonderfully ironic, to see Geraldine's Christmas single beating the X Factor winner to Christmas Number One.
