I DID consider that one, but they turned the transmitter off that time, rather than showing the apology slide for the whole seven years.

For the ITV strike, they put the "blue screen of death" out from the transmitters for the whole period.

Could count as a very very bad breakdown! Confused

I take your point, but I get QUITE enough e-mail (much of it junk that escapes the Wanadoo spam filter) every day already.

I've preferred to just sign up to pp; that way I can visit when I choose, yet not be bombarded when I'm busy with other things.
