Not really worth creating a thread for, but just noticed that London Tonight now has new titles for the first time in over 4 years. But, all that has changed are the images within the titles. They now include the London Eye, congestion charging, the Millenium Bridge and Canary Wharf tube station.

Look nice, but not sure why they've bothered to change them really. Does anyone know when they changed?

I have already made a thread for this. Look back a few pages and reply there.

I still think the music to London Tonight [which hasn't changed] is ok really, even being four years old. Granted it's nothing on it's former self I remember so well [but isn't everything]. Ssshhh.. swisshh.. Lon-don To-night! Anyway.

That leaves HTV the second and third oldest titles now -- and theirs just *don't* carry over time as well as LT's have. Please let them update next year, the trumpets need putting down. I think we can expect Channel Report still looking the same in 2009.

Big fan of Anna Maria-Ashe too.

I believe the 1999 titles still featured Waterloo station with the old mechanical train times display, despite having been replaced with computer screens a year or two ago.

There's a god-awful sting used when the weather is incorporated into the programme. It uses the ITV1 graphic ident music from last year with "LONDON" and "TODAY" flying in from either side. Looks like it was produced in 5 minutes on Power Point. Let's hope for something better when ITN team up.
