London Marathon live online

watching the live feed online for the marathon and wondered why on the view of the finish line the clock is covered over

I know there's a time lag, around five seconds but why hide the clock

I think only one of the finish arches has a clock (the top right one) - perhaps they've covered it to keep some consistency between the shots?
