The majority of the people in England do not live in Greater London, and so this news will not affect most people.

But thank you for providing the information anyways. It was interesting to read.

It won't effect the majority of people, but it will a very large proportion of the population. The area covered by Crystal Palace and Croydon contains a huge number of people - about the 5th of the population of the UK.

Granted, the number of people in the London TV area who can get channel 5 is much lower but it's a lot more than those who watch Look North and how much coverage does that get here!?
