What a wasted opportunity to create a truly new image for London. To promote the UK and convince the world that we will produce the best games so far.

It looks like a 3 year old was given a pair of blunt scissors and told to cut up some shapes after being slipped an esctasy tablet. I can't believe they spent a year thinking of this (and god knows how much money).

Apparently it can't be changed now. We must be an international laughing stock for coming up with this. It will be interesting to hear what our international forumers think.

How very pug fugly, I can't wait to see how the Mail, Mirror, Sexpress etc. deal with it.



Kind of gives rise to the hope that maybe it will change and smooth iself out into some sort of proper icon in the years to come, i.e. not just a pile of jagged cutout edges.

The design, plus the various colours, reminds me of the new ITN "branding" and IMO they're pretty awful, too.

Just have heard BBC reporting - they wont change the logo?

The bloke (or blokess) who designed the Thames Television logo in thier latter production years should have designed the 2012 logo.. at least that was representative of something unlike this mess... Jamesh may even do better ....

They really should have made abit more of an effort!

See that's exactly what I hope they were going to do, an updated version of that with the ribbon logo underneath.

I just cant warm to it yet, sorry. I mean I'm all for modern and fresh but that just looks sh*te
