for those interested.. I believe the bbc regions have been given kites and moon for their idents into news.. and then were told not to use moon as the bbc 1 doesn't reveal in the 10 seconds they usually get for announcements!.. so expect to see alot of kites... (personally i like the hippos)

Surely the logo doesn't appear for 10 seconds in Kites either - or any of them, for that matter!

In Wales:

Football ident followed Match of the Day Live.

Then Moon was used into Robin Hood.

First announcement over ‘Kites’. The first Ident shown at 09.59am:
“A very good morning to you and a warm welcome to a new look for BBC-1 with a brand new high action adventure ‘Robin Hood’s kicking off in a very major way this Saturday night at five past seven“. (Into ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ trailer)

Second announcement over ‘Hippos’ at 10.00am.
“We’re going to be finding out exactly how good fish is for us at 11.30 in ‘Ever Wondered’ on BBC-1 and that’s right after we join James Martin in the Saturday Kitchen”.

Anyone know who this mornings female announcer was?

I was in a hurry at the time. I never knew it already started and I only caught the last few seconds of it. I thought they were a circle of basketball players dribbling their balls because of their colour. * I did see the bikes ident before Robin Hood however.

* I hope I didn't mislead anyone there.
