It was motorbikes here in scotland...I'm guessing they're saving 'football' for match of the day today.

Kite s into Grandstand

Kites was used into Granstand

Blimey a thread to log the BBC One idents over the next few days

This is taking TV presentation enthusiasm to a whole new level, might give presenter rotas a run for it's money.

I know.


Anyhow, I think the first variation in Wales was the use of Football into Grandstand, while the network used Kites.

moon into bbc news at 16.25

football into Match Of The Day Live at 4.45pm

I guess that moon is going to be the regular ident for the news then.

just saw a "coming up next" bar on MOTOD

for those interested.. I believe the bbc regions have been given kites and moon for their idents into news.. and then were told not to use moon as the bbc 1 doesn't reveal in the 10 seconds they usually get for announcements!.. so expect to see alot of kites... (personally i like the hippos)

7pm Basketball was played before showing a teaser of Strictly Come Dancing.

7.05pm Bikes was played before Robin Hood.
