I think Freeview is in a technical lockdown over Christmas and New Year, so they couldn't add anything until this week anyway.

They've sparked up the transmitter at Craigkelly, mux is now active, UHF Ch 30, STV Edinburgh should now appear at EPG Ch 23 (once you've rescanned)

I have done so, and also rescanned with no Ariel, and it seems I'm having trouble with Freq 30, I have spoken to DigitalUK, but there believe it must be a Ariel issue, Im not sure how that can be, since I get the stuff on Freq 23 and Freq38.

I shall wait till tomorrow, since test could still be on going?????

If you can't receive the test transmissions for STV Edinburgh or QVC Extra and POP now via your current aerial, you won't receive the local channel when it is live. The multiplex is now configured and running a regular service.

Not everyone receiving Freeview from Craigkelly transmitter will be able to receive STV Edinburgh. The local mux coverage area is much smaller.

Are you in the intended service area ?

BTW Craigkelly (or any other UK transmitter) carries nothing on UHF Ch 38 )

I deffo in that area, where can I view a proper list of freqs?

Saying that I come across a page where It seem 1/3 of people in Edinburgh are not going to get it, plans were afoot to give the spare Blackhill to cover this problem but it seems someone changes their minds and was going to be give to a new Falkirk channel.

Do you use a communal aerial system (because you're in a block of flats etc) ?

If so, the input filtering may require adjustment, to pass the signal on Ch 30

I'm not in a block of flats, I had to pay someone to put in a brand new ariel in the loft, to get Craigkelly, I do have a very long lead to connect it all up.

I was wondering whether the quality threshold had improved for Sheffield Live.

So I had a look, and was met by a woman performing to camera with two talking vegetables. A broccoli & a cabbage I think.

So nope.
