Wow, such a small operation. I've seen universities and even small colleges with bigger and better facilities. Which begs the question as to why they don't create these kind of stations in conjunction with universities and colleges who already have facilities and free labour. They could then survive on a low amount of viewers.

Estuary TV and Notts TV to name two off the top of my head are in conjunction with local universities.

Estuary TV is in conjunction with the Grimsby Institute (which is an FE and HE college). Yorkshire Coast TV will also be in conjunction with them via Yorkshire Coast College, which is part of the Grimsby Institute (Jon Snow being a notable alumnus of YCC).

Bay TV Liverpool is now broadcasting a looped test transmission. It's on Channel 56 from Winter Hill, presumably only from 'Petal 2'. Not sure what the situation is with Storeton. It was problems with that transmitter which has delayed the station's launch.

Ah, good news! My TV has stored it on channel 8 and the description for the test transmission says they aim to start in October. The channel name itself is the slightly messy looking 'BAYTVLIVERPOOL'. It also appears they will have a different logo than the YouTube-esque logo they have on their website (and their mics!).

Yeah, I edited the name to 'Bay TV Liverpool' on my TV. Also changed 'ITV' to 'ITV Granada' whilst I was there, and lower-cased the numbers on the BBC Channels. Never knew I could do it, so that was fun for a few minutes.

It does seem they're using a Liver Bird as their logo,

Would like to know if it's also running on Storeton and what surrounding towns can receive it.

A placeholder loop has appeared in Newcastle on freeview for Made in Tyne & Wear. They're keeping very quiet on a launch date mind without any mention on their website.

The sound quality on the video is extremely poor - hope it's not like that at launch

Apparently Made in Bristol and Leeds are also testing, along with That's Solent and NVTV in Belfast.

Would anyone be able to upload any caps?
