So why are Leeds TV even covering Scarborough?

The old fashioned commercial radio trick of covering an area larger than they actually cover to make it more attractive to advertisers.

Which us why That's TV have now rebranded channels with more regional names.

I didn't notice that, because my local station has been called That's TV Humber, a name that fits the new pattern, and not Hull, ever since they replaced Grimsby based Estuary TV. I wonder if they were already been planning those name changes at the time.

That often happens, but ironically Leeds-based Radio Aire slimmed down their claimed TSA from roughly 950k to 650k over the years. Have to say, it hasn't helped their market share look any healthier.

BTW, Leeds TV uses the name Yorkshire Live for its local effort. Which reaches a small part of Yorkshire and is never Live.

Over three months! STV2 closed 30th June 2018, That's TV Scotland sneaked on air in early October 2018.

In breach but what are the consequences, especially where OFCOM have subsequently reduced the requirements anyway.

Ultimate consequence is a termination of licence but realistically I dunno why they just don't put this lame duck called "local TV" out of its misery by just shooting it in the head and have done with it, would be the kindest thing in all honesty.

They won't, because the local muxes form a pseudo national mux, the slots on which form a very lucrative 'revenue stream'. The whole thing is a giant scam, which Ofcom are too dim to realise

When did the farce that's also known as That's TV Scotland turn into a simulcast of CBS Reality?

There's no local programming, and the daytime schedule is nothing but Judge Judy.
