Hardly seems worth the change three colour bars being added.
Well presumably the logo change is part of the wider brand refresh.

It still not been made very clear if the ident/pres package created is just for the new STV Glasgow and Edinburgh channels or if it does included STV ch3 aswell.

So on Freeview will they be specifically restricted to the cities, Glasgow, London etc, or will there be broadcasts to towns outwith the main city?
I'd imagine each channel will be available as far as the transmitters would reach?
It must be complicated, though...
It's strange as the Blackhill transmitter which serves Glasgow and the West can reach all the way up to Perthshire which is over 65 miles away.
There's a village called Gilmerton which is in the STV North area, however due to the location of the Crieff Relay, Gilmerton takes a clean feed from Blackhill. So it's possible the Glasgow channel might reach all the way up there...
I've not really read much into stv Glasgow, but is it a full channel with news programs for the city, with a Glasgow breakfast programme. Or, just the riverside show?

It's on air from 12 Midday to 12 Midnight, with a potential audience reach of 2 million in the West of Scotland.
The interview lounge is meant to look like a typical riverside flat, but the custom-made sofas sit higher than normal so presenters and guests are best-framed by the views from the windows behind. Jennifer Reoch and David Farrell will be backed by the SSE Hydro, while guests on the daily magazine programme are flanked by the Squinty Bridge.
The aim is to underscore the unabashed focus on local news, both by the programme and the station as a whole. The feeling is that nothing will say “live from Glasgow” better than these iconic backdrops.
