I see we've had our first fictitious local TV station in a drama ? Last night's
In The Dark
on BBC 1.
Had cameo performances from BBC North West Tonight presenters (who always seemed to be broadcasting live
from the town, whenever something happened) and also Derbyshire County Television, complete with SNG truck,
and the tag line. '24 hour news coverage of Derbyshire' . I look forward to ep2 next week, and their News Chopper

Do we know the schedule for KMTV? I wonder if they'll stream KMFM (the partner radio station) during the day to fill the schedule. The radio station's studios have just been renovated and look pretty amazing!
Seems very Notts TV in production quality, which is a good start.

I think they're streaming KMFM of a morning, London Lite may be able to shed more light.
Here's the first Kent Tonight I've seen uploaded. The guy they brought in from Notts needs to get his set designers in. Audio also seems to be a bit off but overall a good effort.

Great to see cameos from the 4th and 5th Dimbleby brothers, nice to know they're not all political hosts or glass blowers.

The Kent Tonight presenter seems a bit OTT with his intro and the second VT the journalist forgot to sign off, which left with an abrupt gap.
However, like Notts TV, this isn't anything like a That's TV/Sheffield Live set-up. Was also impressed that VJ's also have branded work cars to travel to assignments, which shows a clear investment in the output.

London Live have been showing the F1 Live event from Trafalgar Square. Program introduced and linked by a pre-recorded Tom Clarkson (5Live F1) with a London Live mic. A mix of London Live's own interviews, and simulcast of the live FOM world feed (as seen online and on Sky F1).
