Can I assume it's not just Radio Solent/BBC South that's using the Honda ad spoof to promote its football commentary?

No, I've also seen it on South East, West and South West.

All with different banners dropping at the end, obviously.

London has it too.... it's been running for the whole football season

Leeds, Sheffield and Humberside variants seen up here, possibly York too

The promo, ie. the spoof Cog advert was made by BBC Manchester and is used to promote Football on all BBC Radio Stations.

It's been on Look East since last Summer.

Not everyone who sees the ad thinks of Honda... when it first went out I eard people in my office comment on it as 'the Peugot advert'
