I think ITV might get someone like Bradley Walsh to host the show. He had his own show lined up, but after two pilots it was dropped.

Doesn't that say something though? If even ITV wouldn't give him his own show, he has no chance!

are you of your heed: why do we need a comedienne to do this Show

we need someone who was like Dennis: old school

so it will be It'll be alright on the night 21 when it cames back:

Who exactly would count as "old school" now ? They are all either dead or retired, I can only think of Parkinson on ITV who would fit that bill, and it's hardly his kind of show is it ?

We live very much now in the Russell Brand generation, outrageous comedians or graduated kids TV presenters.

Potentially Tarrant, he's done the linking in between clips thing before.

What happened to Tarrant on TV, has it been axed?

He also writes his own links too.

Could you imagine if CT did it, though:

"Should we show the next batch of out-takes? Is that your final answer? I'll ask the audience, then go 50:50, then phone a friend."

I still miss Auntie's Bloomers...but obviously that was a BBC show. I think the last time I saw that was when they had to break for a news report about the Queen Mother's death.

Tarrant on TV has not been axed.
The main obstacle however would appear to be fitting in filming it while also doing Millionaire (which seems to take on ever increasing series lengths and airings every time it comes back to air) and his radio show and other commitments as and when.
