Needs someone of more mature years hosting it... Probably at least 38. Doesn't have to be that well known, either. Maybe someone who has only ever appeared in a late night slot, and deserves to move to primetime.

Sheesh, I'm wasting my breath....

are you of your heed: why do we need a comedienne to do this Show

we need someone who was like Dennis: old school

so it will be It'll be alright on the night 21 when it cames back:

I still think this is the ONLY Good Cock up show on TV, as most of the clips on the stop funny:

I see there was a 5 year gap between 1985 - 1990

I like No8 the BEST!

My bets on Simon Cowell

I bet it could be Ant And Deck - I Hope they don't pick them! Evil or Very Mad

I would like to see a more mature presenter as well - Somebody that can be funny onscreen but not necessarily a Comedian

It will be Ant & Dec. As Jonathan Ross once said "ITV haven't got anybody else".

Saying that, there is always Vernon Kay...

Big mistake, IMO - Denis WAS It'll Be Alright On The Night and to make new shows without him would be like trying to remake Dad's Army with a present-day cast. Some shows should just be left alone once they come off air.

Michael Grade could always present himself, I suppose - he, along with Denis and the then LWT producer Paul Smith, were responsible for bringing it to air in the first place. In fact Michael Grade even did the audience warm-up for the first IBAOTN himself!

If he did do it, let's hope that his television presenting is better than his warm-up act that night was... Laughing

I seriously can't imagine Ant and Dec presenting 'It will be Alright on the Night' isn't that a single presenter job rather then a duo? Confused

I think ITV might get someone like Bradley Walsh to host the show. He had his own show lined up, but after two pilots it was dropped.

Sir Patrick Moore!
BS
Ben Shatliff
Chris Tarrant would be a perfect choice.
