Ofcourse it wont be Simon Cowell, there seems to be no logic to that guess.
Did you not detect just a tad bit of sarcasm in the post?
But knowing, ITV is it possible.
I surpose i just think it was miss use of sarcsm lol.

Stupid bringing it back. They should be looking for new outtake show formats. Unfortunately the only person who seems suitable for these types of shows nowadays is Harry Hill but he can't present them all.

I agree with cymru148, the show doesnt need a supposedly funny presenter, as the clips are what makes the show worthwhile. Although TV Burp is excellent, It'll b alright on the night, and the laughter files were far better IMO.

Denis was ideal for the show. Its about clips, not some annoying presenter from Capital FM.

This Is Your Life tonight was quite something... talk about feeding the ego. I think this is what's going to be the problem with the show now we're heavily in the celebfest ego era. But again I suppose it depends on the *ahem* ITV *ahem* subject. Still keeps Sir Trevor busy.
I used to laugh at the BBC show when Aspel hosted (Monday nights 7pm) and they'd have some celebrity friends of the subject who didn't get on with eachother so they'd have to be careful with seating arrangements on set. The glum faces!

I believe Harry Hill was asked to take over the show not long after Denis retired but he refused. To be honest I couldn't see him doing it as it was always a sophisticated show despite the humorous nature of the clips it shown. Not sure who I'd like though, Maybe Jeremy Beadle, Bradley Walsh or even Brian Conley are the sorts I've got in mind. It's hard actually.
