The BBC version you may be thinking about are its "Christmas" tapes. These were distributed exclusively to BBC staff and contained cock-ups and special clips fronted by Michael Crawford, for example. They were uncensored and hence not fit for broadcast. (Sue Lawley effing and jeffing for example.) But some of the clips did turn up on the first Auntie's Bloomers. (They were the ones with the "BBC vt" DOG in the corner.)
