How many times have Living rebranded now - 7 times? My god why are they wasting so much money when the current one could still go on for a few more years.

More often than not people still call it UK Living anyway.

I rekon they rebrand whenever there is a kind of shift in their programming.

UK Living - Living tv probably due to UKTV branding changes

With all this modelling and style type of programming replacing the US Comedy, this is probably the likely cause.

I'm sure a logo needs to go "Look at me!" rather than "You can't see me" or even "You are looking at me". I like it, reflects the direction Living TV is taking and also there's that thing about having a 'new' owner so maybe you might want to attract attention that way, same like they're rebranding FTN to be Virgin Central soon enough.

When Living is showing Kath & Kim, I think you'll find the logo needs to say 'Look at moiye ploiyse'.

Are you sure they'll be replacing FTN with Central? On the website it bills Virgin Central as "a revolutionary new TV Channel" and "TV you control". I read that to mean it's some sort of on-demand service, which surely there wouldn't be enough bandwidth for on Freeview? I hope you're right, though - FTN is an appalling brand and looks incredibly cheap. Either way it surely won't be around for much longer, since the Flextech brand is now dead.

By the way, googling "virgin central" probably isn't the best idea...especially if you're at work!

Nope, I'm dead wrong. I found out that Virgin Central is just that which you mentioned 10 minutes after I posted here.

Interesting to see a swooshy version of the Virgin Media logo to the right there as well. I guess we may see that on Challenge, Bravo, Trouble, etc. as well.

Edit: although thinking about it, I suppose that might just be for the website.

It'll be interesting if they introduce the Virgin 'Pringle' Logo on to all of their channels. Only a matter of time until we're watching Virgin One, Virgin Two, Virgin Three etc!

It is a shame about Living's idents though. I know they re-brand more often than the average human blinks - but I do like the current 'particles' they've currently got - it's unique and I really like it.
