Live from Television Centre

As noted on the calendar just started on BBC4 is Live From Television Centre. It started with an intro from Kirsty Wark outside (what's left of) Television Centre. The first two plays are coming from Studio 1, the third from the drama block, and if I recall correctly the last from the props store.

That was all rather weird wasn't it. Can't say I was overly impressed, nice to see some bits of the old girl again, but as the second performance stated in his intro "Welcome to the ruins of Television Centre" along with a few comments about the sale price of 200m and the transformation into house will net much more than that.
