Well I dipped in for a short time last night when they were discussing high-heeled shoes being mandatory "uniform" in some workplaces.

As you can imagine, the two ladies felt that high heels are nice if you like them, but they felt most strongly that it shouldn't be an enforced part of work wear.

Throughout this, Wright interjected, oh.. a dozen times, making the point that women look sexy in heels. And again and again and again.

He had a certain cheeky charm, but it was apparent that the girls *really* wanted to get to the end of their point, yet he shoehorned (no pun) his halfpennyworth in again. And then the girls tried to sum up what had been discussed.

And he chimed in AGAIN that women are sexy in heels.

I kind of gave up at that point.

Its not that he was particularly bad, or that his opinion was deeply sexist or anything but he seemed totally oblivious to the ebb and flow of on-screen banter; yet Kate - an absolute newcomer to broadcasting - seemed to recognise that that he wanted to make a point, so she'd let him finish and tried to balance his view with her own.

But he wasn't having any of it.

He also stared at the camera throughout (rather than at his co-hosts) as much as to say, "ignore them and listen to me - you know you want to". A bit like Nick Owen - except he didn't know when to knock it off.

I liked the studio (if pink LED and chrome is your thing - happily it is), and I liked the interaction from the crew.

But Wright needs to behave more like a co-presenter and less like he has Asperger's syndrome.

It's ADHD surely?

Aspergers: characterised by severe and sustained impairment in social interaction and nonverbal communication and by restricted, repetitive, pedantic and stereotyped activities, interests, speech and routines.

No I think Aspergers says it better.

Not that I mean any offence to those who may have a touch of that. Some of my best friends are pedantic and repetitive.

They don't stay best friends for long, right enough.

Ian Wright is definitely not Aspergic Gav.

Gavin didn't say he did. He simply said that he was acting as though he did.

I know that.

I would just say it's more as though it's ADHD - people with Aspergers are usually shy don't socialise that well and that most certainly does not describe Ian Wright.

Fair enough. Not Aspergers and not ADHD.

Lets just agree that he's an arse.

More evidence of Ian Wright being an arse, with added "You asked for that" by moi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWF7EHRkz3o

Tried to watch it, but it's impossible. Ian Wright's like a f***ing child. Who's had too much sugar. And possibly taken something that it's allergic to.

Ian Wright.......so WRONG. So VERY WRONG. Most irritating. Most annoying. Most unwatchable.
This programme need the likes of Richard Bacon ( superb broadcaster and in touch with the real world ) and Jenni Falkner. If all else fails, I suppose there's always Zig N Zag Rolling Eyes
