While demonstrating unbelievable brass neck, tonight's drivel-fest included an item about 'cringeworthy TV'.
Needless to say, it wasn't actually self-deprecating, they were trying to poke fun at the recent incident at an awards ceremony.
They really need to play back their own performance before they make any attempt to ridicule others.
I don't see this programme lasting even to the end of the month. The ratings are as bad as the muppets they've hired as presenters.

I totally agree, RI:SE has RI:SEn from the tv graveyard, got up late and moved up one channel.
And that was a Sky production too

Maybe, but the idea of it staying where it is now is to stop the audience from switching over after the Neighbours/Home & Away hour. They've even cut the ads straight after H&A - so they aren't going to get a much better lead in at that time of day.
Somehow, besty, I do think Stuart meant that as a joke.
On another note, does the interchangeable studio between Five News and the abominable Live From Studio Five mean that this disastrous show is coming from Sky News HQ in Osterley?
I suspect Five will move it from 6:30 to 7:00pm in an attempt to capture the entire audience of Cbeebies/CBBC when they closedown.

Oh yes. Slightly missed the point there
(To be honest points more silly than that have been made in the most serious tone on here in the past!)

Nope, its from Studio C
Is it actually Studio Five or is that just something to shoe-horn the channel name in? (must be mighty confusing at Sky HQ if not)

The ratings held steady at 0.4m last night, which it also got on Tuesday, so it looks like it may have found its level quite early on and won't sink much further. It is only a little higher than the ratings Five News at 7 got, so I can't see it lasting in its current form or slot. The negatives outweigh the benefits for the sake of an extra hundred thousand viewers. It could probably work in a late night slot though at around 11pm.
