Live Streaming Apps with Subtitles

Due to the place I'm staying for work having lost all TV signal (RF thingy blown apparently), I am relying on both NOW TV and Chromecast to watch TV.

Are there any apps available that offer subtitles for live streams of TV channels.

I've tried BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, My5 etc but none seem to have any subtitles on the live stream of the channel. The only one I found was online with S4C.

I'm sure the iPlayer does have subtitles for live TV.

On computers, yes. Not on the app.

I had never noticed before that watching iPlayer live, subtitles are not available, but they are for non live programming.

While watching the BBC News live on the iPlayer, I do get subtitles.
