I checked out Ceefax today and read on p531 that a new 'Saturday Show!' is to hit our screens on Sept 22. I was figuring that L&K's getting older by the week, so this surely must mean bye-bye L&K? Past Sat morning shows didn't last the way L&K did (8 whole years!), but now it's time to move on, as the new CBBC channel is arriving in autumn.

Can anyone confirm if this is another answer to FBi or is it part of CBBC's new makeover??? That's all... Very Happy

Did you seriously managed to miss all the L&K stuff in the news a few months ago?! Razz: Indeed L&K has been axed - as far as I know, it will continue (unusually) until September, when it'll be replaced by something new.

Good riddance is all I say. SM:tv, on the other hand, will last for years more to come, especially with the excellent new Star Trek spoof 'SMTV 2099' which started last week. Very funny indeed.

About time it was axed!

It was never the same after Andi Peters and Emma Forbes left. Jamie Theakston and Zoe Ball did an OK job, Emma Ledden and Steve Wilson were unbelievably poor and Trey, Ortis, Sarah and co are unendurable!

I say, bring back Phillip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher!

Yes I'm glad Live & Kicking is going, its old hat now! I turn BBC ONE on at 1210, and on Sunday I watch from 0900 until 1300 (when On The Record is on)

Motormouth has always been my top Saturday fun... BTW, according to Paul Morris' SatKids, there was a Saturday morning show called 'The Saturday Show'... on ITV in the 70s!
