Also, is it Live? We had Bono say a "****ing" but it seemed to be dipped out, though not quick enough to completly miss it!

Bono diped his own voice - he didn't actually say the word - happens a lot at gigs.

Bill Gates appears on TV, and I ended up having to reformat a videotape and reinstall my VCR!

A couple of presentation points: Firstly, Chris Martin saying if the BBC didn't show the following video, they weren't doing their job - then the BBC being unable to show the video!

I think Bono dipped himself... I don't think the Beeb have any form of delay in the stage feeds.

Not sure what happened when they dipped out of REM to go backstage with Razorlight...

It looked like an accident - like they were trying to feed the interview to the studio and they put it on the live broadcast by accident. Don't know how those things work though.

The crowd don't seem to be very animated at the best of times. There seemed to be more atmosphere at T4 on the Beach!

Er - sing? Rolling Eyes

Yes, and nice little joke there made by the guy in the pod about asking BG why Windows crashes. I take it that's why BG made a rather quick exit and didn't get interviewed on TV? Laughing

Some of the coverage seems to be a few seconds behind - all afternoon, the acts on stage have been shown live, yet when the cameras point to the crowds during a song, they are singing about a second slower - i wonder why this is?

Nice slick trip round the regions there. Here's Manchester and then erm Manchester?!

Ross is doing well linking it all together, much better than a range of other presenters that could have presented it that are on the BBC's books these days. Not sure on Cotton though, it's like she's hosting an edition of TOTP Saturday
