I know it's only 20 minutes in..but i'm not getting a sense of 'Live Aid' style history in the making feeling. It's Party in the Park with better acts. But like i said is it's only 20 minutes in...

As you say - it is too early to tell. ISTR that Live AId didn't really feel like it had that "world changing" status until Queen played.
For me the scale of the Hyde Park event is amazing - and U2 were cracking.
The stage sound is a LOT better than 1985 - and the stage coverage is pretty damn good as well.

Shame Bill Gates didn't give us a number!
A couple of presentation points: Firstly, Chris Martin saying if the BBC didn't show the following video, they weren't doing their job - then the BBC being unable to show the video!
Also, is it Live? We had Bono say a "****" but it seemed to be dipped out, though not quick enough to completly miss it!
