A little different...

This site closed in March 2021 and is now a read-only archive

You may have noticed the different URL at the top. For a short time we’ll be at this address but do keep coming through via tvforum.co.uk, it should only be for a couple of days before normality returns.

As it’s at a different address you’ll need to log in again but the old cookie will still be there to automatically log you back in once the change has completed.

If you spot anything happening that didn’t happen on the old site, please let me know.

Cheers, Asa

It certainly seems to have given the site a considerable speed boost. I'm also not (yet) experiencing the annoying timeout problems I used to have with the old server (I presume the place has changed servers / hosting company hence the IP whilst the DNS sorts itself out)

Yes speedier here for me - well relatively speaking in my BT Broadband world

Not sure if this is related but I keep getting a "Page Not Found" when I click on some topics.

I keep getting this too, if I click on the "go to first new post" icon of a thread I've never read before, it always goes to a 404 error. If I click on the topic title however, it's fine. Threads I've read before work fine.

It seems to be triggered when someone deletes the last post to a topic. Also when using the latest post option, daring to click the back button if you accidently click reply returns you to the first page rather than the page you were on.

It's been doing that for a long time.
