I only really watch Little Britain for Matt Lucas as Marjorie Dawes! So funny and random as I remember him as Marjorie on Shooting Stars.

His name was Ray Macooney.
David Walliams said on Friday Night with Johnathan Ross that he may come back in Series Three.
He was certainly back on the stage-show last week, so maybe he'll appear later in the series.

One character I think should make a return is the scottish "It contains no nuts" man.

I agree wholeheartedly with posters who say the new series has lost it completely. I was a massive fan and it used to be unmissable TV. Now it's highly missable. Old characters are painfully predictable, while the new ones just don't hit the mark at all.
They should have done what Fawlty Towers did - it stopped after 2 series (12 episodes), and we're left with 12 classic episodes, without a dud one among them. It wasn't allowed to get stale. If they'd stopped making Little Britain, yes, there would have been public outcry, but we'd have been left with 12 good episodes that could, in time, become classics. Instead, they're flogging it to death and its eventual legacy will be significantly lessened.
It strikes me that Walliams and Lucas are in serious danger of being carried away on the crest of their own wave.

There is still a huge following for Little Britain in this country (what with the tour and everything), hence, Lucas and Walliams made another series. If you're a true 'fan' like I am, you tend to appreciate whatever they throw at you. What you have to remember is it is only a sketch show not a sitcom. I tend to treat it as a random sketch show rather than following a story of a character.
Yes, there are some sketches that didn't need to be done again i.e. Mr Mann but then again, what is best in my opinion is not so much the sketches but the sheer comic timing and characterisation of Matt and David.
(some of what i was trying to say made sense

blinkin eck what a load of killjoys you lot are!! take off your critical hats and just sit back and LAUGH!!! This country's got enough moany groany people around. Drop your inhibitions and try to see the funny side to any situation. Lucas and Walliams are natural born clowns.
<critic hat on > It's certainly funnier than the dross that follows it, ben millers atrocious vehicle worst week of my life <critic hat off >

I'm assuming you too think that Bill & Sian ought to do a "Strictly Come Dancing" routine on Breakfast one Friday morning?
Whats this gotta do with Little Britain?
