Finally confirmed by the BBC, Little Britain will start to show on the 17th November at (possibly) 9:00pm on BBC One - the first time the channel is broadcasting a Little Britain Series Premiere.

Characters like Lou and Andy, Vicky Pollard and Daffyd will be back, and according to Matt himself, Ray McCooney.

However, characters like Harvey, Doug, and (unfortunately) Dennis Waterman have been axed.

Kylie Minogue will be appearing in the series, along with other celebrities.

It seems to be confirmed that this series which will be the last (which is the only thing I hate about Lucas and Walliams) so enjoy it while you can, people.

It isn't confirmed - Matt and Dave say in the new Radio Times that everyone just assumes it will be. It will however be the last for a while as they're touring a lot of next year. There will be a Christmas 2006 special though.

Surely if it ends now while it's still on a high and popular liek Fawlty Towers & The Young Ones, rather than in a few year when it's old, tired and all people will remember it for is that show that went on for too long and got crap- like people will inevitably think about Last of The Summer Wine whenever thats end in 50 years time..

Why is it not on BBC3 first? All this talk of digital switchover - surely if it was on BBC3 it may entice a few thousand more to freeview at least?

Last time LB was shown first on BBC THREE, and then edited for BBC ONE. I hope we will still get to see an "un-censorsed" version on BBC THREE (even if it is afterwards).

The new characters look interesting. Perhaps it's time that Harvey and the "Dennis Waterman" characters went, I think their humour was wearing thin. (PS is Dennis W actually very small or something, or did they just pick on him cos of "write the feem toon, sing the feem toon" (which was a good p!$$-take anyway - I bet he was livid! Very Happy )

Then again, Friends was extremely popular in the US and ran for a whole ten years. It's still remembered and admired now!

Matt and Dave admitted themselves, that they have no idea why Dennis is small.

Because they got to BBC One because of the extreme success and a massive audience.

What confuses me is that they say this series will be the sickest - yet they censored several things from series two!

I can't and won't believe that Little Britain is ending after this final third season. It can't!! It just can't!! It's too good to finish!! They (Matt Lucas and David Walliams) most prob will make a special Christmas show for this year and possibly next year, then that will be the last we will see of them... what does everyone else think??
