Going along with the great medium wave discussion thread does anyone listen to shortwave radio which must be the oldest means of broadcast.Broadcasting all those international, pirate and amatuer ,beacons, number stations. The sw bands were so packed and as sets didn't have digital readout to know if you were exactly on the frequency your after they had interval signals which are signature tunes, 5 minutes before the top of the hour so you knew you were on the right station.Signals from around the globe broadcast on it.
