Liquid News Relaunches Tonight

Found on Gateway - Liquid News relaunches tonight in a new-look set from the larger TVC N2 studio (the old national news one (pre 1999)). Aparently the set could be used for other news programmes during the day if needed.

Yep - mentioned on Friday's show.

All ready for the 1minute news updates coming to BBC Three I suppose. I hope the bunket hasn't gone!!

When is BBC 3 + 4 coming Asa?

As far as I know, BBC 3 + 4 are scheduled for launch in the Summer - but as to when that will be? I'm not sure!...

BBC Four should be coming around July with BBC Three at the end of the year was what I last heard.

I like the new set but that Liquid News (now animating and in 4:3 safe area) DOG is very annoying. The whole top screen of BBC Choice is an absolute mess.

Can you tell us more about the Liquid News new look and any still shots if possible! Cheers Asa or anyone.

The set is OK, but just how many image changes does this show need ?  I agree with Asa about the DOG, just what is the point ? I understand why some channels have DOG's but see no reason for a show to have one, now that it's animated I can't keep my eyes away from it !!!!!!

The new studio is great! Are they not launching BBC 4 on the first night of the Proms, as originally thought, or have they scrapped that idea?
