Anyone see Liquid News tonight? The floor manager crawled behind the guests twice - in full view of the camera. I assume that it was deliberate to add maximum effect to their supposed breaking news about Aniston & Pitt. After all, presenters do have earpieces!

I saw it.

I think you can safely assume it was deliberate...

I saw it too, which is quite impressive seeing as it was the first time I've ever watched the show! It was obviously deliberate as - 1) if he wanted to be subtle, he could have crawled round the *other* side of the set, avoiding the sofa side altogether, 2) they cut to a wide shot as he handed the paper to the presenter, so we could all see him and 3) as you said, they could have told him from the gallery!

I thought it was quite funny - maybe they should do this sort of thing on the relaunched Sky News... Actually, on CBS's coverage of the 96 Election, you could see a bloke wearing headphones crawl behind Dan Rather, and then a hand would appear from below with a cue card, which the hand then bashed against Rather a couple of times to grab his attention!

Yeah, a nice idea but can only be done once - or twice before the novelty wears off.

It does explain why they're called floor managers!

Only Liquid News could get away with it. I agree it's only funny if it is rare.
