As its only on for a week, are these 5 eps to see if its good enough for a series to be made? Well I wonder how the ratings are on BBC Two this week at 6pm compared to other weeks when The Simpsons are on.

If so, I'd be interested to hear of other occasions when the same show has been broadcast on two different terrestrial channels within the same timeframe. Can't think of any....

Well potentially. I'd have thought that at first C4 will only have the one series of 24-ish eps. So they will need to buy up some old series and pad out with futurama even for one slot all year around, nevermind 5 a week.

That's the idea, yes. So expect this kind of thing to happen fairly regularly in the future.

A contradiction if ever I heard one.

Anyway, Nobody Likes A Smartass is absolutely dire. Pointless, unfunny and not in the slightest bit entertaining.

Surely there are better formats for 6 o'clock on BBC Two. I know what I'd bring back if I were the controller, and that's the quite excellent Wanted. Fantastic game show, could work really well having a daily live programme searching for contestants, and having a big final on Friday.

I feel Treasure Hunt lacks an edge, it's a bit too predictable and doesn't go wrong often enough. The one set in Sydney was fantastic though, because Suzi had to use other transport - they should try and do that more often.

I soooo agree....

I like Jo Brand, think she's quite funny (In the right circumstances) but this drivel, I wonder if she's completely sane signing up for this.

And I think a new series of Treasure Hunt would have done well in the space. I'd certainly have preferred to see Suzi Perry's arse than this bunch of arse!

Bring back Doctor who repeats...there's an idea!
